Audioengine A5 Powered IPod Speakers

I'm posting these Audioengine powered speakers because they work great with my iPod but aren't the typical crappy disposable plastic portable speakers. Finally some real speakers for my iPods (and my turntable)! There's also an AC jack on the rear panel to plug in an Airport Express so I can send wireless music from my iTunes. They are clean-looking design and sound incredible in my living room (and I think they also come in black).

like the retro vibe. greta combination of color and form.

The fact that they don't have grills covering the speakers makes the design more interesting, me thinks. The woofers are Kevlar material and tweeters are silk so they can take some abuse and should last for a long time.

I think you are right on with the non existing grills. I wasn't able to put my finger on it but yes, true. Sweeet.
