Gizmodo calls it the kegerator for wine. I don't know how I feel about wine on tap, but since this is a French product and is made in France it won't be bad.
It being french has nothing to do with it being "useful"... These things have been around for a while, the concept is simple, fill a bottle with a gas heavier than air and your wine won't Oxygenate/go bad and you can leave it open as long as you like.
