Family Switchplate
"The image on this lightswitch cover comes from the 70s-era "Encyclopedia of Human Behavior," a 24-volume set of which most volumes feature at least two entries on prostitution. The caption for this illustration was "The sexual revolution may be here, but families remain the building blocks of society." So your guests know that this really is a family picture, I've left the title in the upper left corner. I've painted the screws to match, so you don't have random white polka-dots marring your lovely switchplate.
Pasted with archival rice starch and coated with a low-VOC sealer, the picture and the trash-picked plastic plate are durable, easily cleaned, water-safe, and environmentally sound.
